Project Overview
Aged Care Research & Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, set up to lead the advancement of the aged care workforce capability by promoting and facilitating innovation and research to improve the quality of aged care for all Australians. As the collaborative hub for our national aged care ecosystem, we can ensure the aged care sector is enabled and responsive to the needs of the community ongoing.
The 2024 Conference was essentially a part 2 of the hugely successful 2023 Facing the Future: Aged Care 2030 and Beyond conference which was set up as the first event of its kind to bring together the whole aged care ecosystem to talk about positive ageing. The 2023 conference won the award for best conference <500 delegates at the 2023 Australian Event Awards.
The Brief
LAAD’s brief from ARIIA was to use the 2023 brand language but modify it to suit the theme of the 2024 event. By carefully updating the exciting and unique brand language from 2023, we created a look that was different enough to be noticeable but still utilised the goodwill generated from the previous year’s conference. The branding would be carried through all aspects of the conference marketing, promotional material and event artwork.
Services
Working in conjunction with the ARIIA marketing and communications team, LAAD generated a series of concepts that were reviewed and discussed. The approved concepts were applied to all graphic design and advertising materials throughout the build-up to the conference. These included press and digital advertising, posters and flyers. Event art included all signage, banners, media screens, brochures, PowerPoint and table art. The custom-built photo booth was updated and reused for the event.
