Project Overview
Palliative Care South Australia (PCSA) is a leading charity and independent peak body representing palliative care providers, the community and people experiencing a serious illness, dying, death and grief, as well as those with an interest in palliative care across South Australia.
In 2019, LAAD was commissioned to build PCSA a new website to reflect its new branding direction the LAAD designed. The new site utilised and built on content from the existing site site, incorporating the new graphic design assets and language.
For the 4 years the served its purpose well, however PCSA was growing and we were tasked with effectively creating an brand new site on the latest platform and to bring the site up to date with the latest technological advances to better connect with target audiences, and strengthen its digital marketing presence.
The work
In tandem with the site rebuild, a new design language was created. Graphic design concepts were produced to ensure the PCSA’s new brand and colour palette was applied consistently across the website. These concepts were review and refined and once locked in applied to the build phase. (Note: as of May 2024 the site now features the new national logo style.)
The site also had to incorporate an eCommerce feature, training and events calendars, Humantix booking links and many more. We approached the website design and build with the goal of achieving more engagement, and to assist in these goals we concentrated on clear navigation so visitors can find information quickly, big bright images and relevant content.
